Conditions of participation
As team captain I register my named team for the Dragon Cup Stuttgart on 20.07.2024 bindingly. By sending the form I confirm that I have read and accepted the conditions of participation.
I confirm that my team members are informed about the following safety rules, have read and accepted the invitation to participate and the conditions of participation.
Requirements
- each team member is able to swim at least 30m with clothes on
- each team member is in good health to participate in the training and race
- each team member takes part in the event on his own responsibility and risk.
- Only company, recreational, club, party or (high) school teams are allowed. No active dragon boat teams or actively
- competitive water sports clubs from the DDV or DKV associations.
- A team has at least 14, max. 16 paddlers and one drummer.
- The team can be composed of women and men.
- Participation is possible from the age of 14.
- Registration at the right Cup (Open Cup, Mix Cup, School Cup)
- The participants assure a careful handling of the sports equipment provided to them.
- The Kanugesellschaft Stuttgart reserves the right to make changes to the course of the event.
- Deadline for registration is 15.06.2024.
Think of a suitable and creative team disguise. The team with the best disguise will be awarded extra by a neutral jury!
Costs
With the registration for the Dragon Cup I commit myself to pay the entry fee, in the amount below. A refund is excluded.
School classes, student groups 180€ per team
Companies, leisure groups, club teams etc. 300€ per team
This fee includes training, entrance to the festival area on the day of the event, participation fee and entrance to the Open Air After Race Party.

GENERAL
The event area is not a lawless area. The event has been planned together with the responsible security authorities and will be supervised day and night by a security company and medical staff. All this just to ensure safety and fun for you and for all participants.
BAG AND DRINK REGULATION
The security concept includes a strict bag and beverage regulation, which concerns the event area. Pointed objects, weapons, bottles of any kind (plastic, glass and cans), drugs and other dangerous items are strictly prohibited. All teams will be provided with 2 crates (crate=12x1l) of drinking water each during the sporting part of the event. In addition, there will be numerous stalls in the event area where drinks can be purchased.
Reservation
The organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event due to external influences. In this case, an attempt will be made to refund the costs, the amount of the refund will depend on the costs already incurred at the time of the postponement/cancellation.
Higher force
Since the mentioned event is an open air festival, the organizer reserves the right to

Image and sound rights:
Participants are available for sound, picture and video recordings before, during and after the event by arrangement. The recordings are transferred to the Kanugesellschaft Stuttgart e.V. for any use. This includes in particular the right to reproduce and/or process the image and sound material in the original or edited, in tangible or intangible form, in all media (including print, film, television, as well as internet and radio), to make it publicly perceptible and/or to broadcast it, as well as to use it in the original or edited form for merchandising purposes (in particular to design and/or distribute it in connection with objects of general use). The right to transfer the aforementioned rights in whole or in part to third parties is also transferred.
